FAO FAR is a Polish private-owned company. It was founded in 1992 as the first importer of forestry machines. Initially, the machines were imported for State’s Forests, but as the number of private forestry enterprises was growing up, there were more and more private companies among our customers. Our business consisted in importation of forestry machines at the beginning. As the needs of Polish forestry were increasing, we were extending our product range, too. Since our company was developing its business, customers were gaining more and more confidence in us, and we used to make strong demands on ourselves, we could start to manufacture machines of our own exclusively for Polish foresters. It must be pointed out that FAO FAR machines had then to meet Poland-specific requirements: heavy-duty use, hard ground conditions, rather weak tractors, and users’ carelessness with machines. Our machines won the most exacting users’ approval.

FAO FAR is now the largest private-owned manufacturer of forestry machines in Poland.

Prizes won at Forestry Fairs, a still growing number of regular customers and excellent relationships with machine users motivate us to further develop our business and provide the best level of service.
